Whole Body Kinematics

To analyse the full body kinematics, a 3D motion capture system (Vicon, Oxfords Metrics Group, UK) consisting of twenty-six MX40 and T160 motion-capture cameras recorded the motion of 75 skin markers attached to the skin at a sampling frequency of 100 Hz. The markers were attached mainly to the lower extremities (Figure; Table), and specifically encompassed all marker positions required for the IfB marker set (List et al., 2013), the OSSCA bone landmark and cluster marker sets (Ehrig et al., 2011Ehrig et al., 2006Ehrig et al., 2007Heller et al., 2011Kratzenstein et al., 2012Taylor et al., 2010), as well as the Vicon Plug-in-Gait marker locations (Vicon Peak®, Oxford, UK).
