Activity Description
Level walking Walking straight ahead over 5 force plates embedded in the floor
Downhill walking Walking down a walkway with a 10° inclined slope (18%), which included two force plates
Stair descent Walking down an instrumented stair with three steps, each 18cm in height
Sit-to-Stand The two tasks stand-to-sit and sit-to-stand were measured as a single sequence. The subject started in a sitting position, rose to an upright standing position and sat down again
Squat Standing with stationary feet, approximately shoulder width apart with hands stretched forwards
Knee joint flexion as far as individually possible before returning to the standing position
